It's alot cheaper than the brake caliper specific paint... and should be just as good... I have some 1200 red at home waiting to be put on.... Make sure you clean the calipers REALLY well with a wire brush and brake cleaner 1st... make sure they are totally grease free. (and I would advise pulling the calipers to do the best possible job of cleanign and painting) A high temp clear coat after painting would also be a great idea. As to your torqing question. Do your self a favor and spring for a torque wrench... your rotors will thank you for it. :-)
